What the system does
Grid-connected large-scale energy storage
A utility-scale BESS buys energy when there is a surplus and returns it when the grid needs it. Several containers operate as a single power plant, coordinated by the EMS and by a power plant controller (PPC) that follows the system operator's setpoints.
