What the system does
Battery with static transfer switch
With a static transfer switch (STS), the battery picks up the load within milliseconds if the grid fails, without the equipment even noticing. The rest of the time it keeps working: it stores cheap or solar energy and uses it during expensive hours.
- 01
Switchover in milliseconds during outages and micro-outages.
- 02
Continuity for pumping and critical processes.
- 03
Arbitrage and self-consumption while the grid is available.
- 04
24/7 alarms and remote monitoring.
Typical functions of this type of system. The specific strategy for each installation is defined by the preliminary study and fine-tuned by the EMS during operation.
