What the system does

Behind-the-meter battery for a business

In an industrial setting the battery works behind the meter. It shaves demand peaks, charges in cheap periods and discharges in expensive ones, and stores surplus solar that would otherwise be given away to the grid. The EMS learns the consumption profile and adjusts the strategy.

  Peak shaving: cuts peaks and allows contracted power to be reduced.

  Arbitrage between tariff periods (P1–P6).

  More self-consumption: stores surplus PV output for later use.

  Backup for critical loads if designed with switchover.
